Gina Rinehart Mini Series In The Works

Screentime (Underbelly: Everything) has acquired the rights to contentious unauthorised Gina Rinehart biography, Gina Rinehart: The Untold Story of the World’s Richest Women, for use in a six hour mini series tentatively titled The House of Hancock.

Announced today, the series will detail the life and rise of the richest woman in the world/noted hater of jealous poor people and see Michael Lucas (Not Suitable For Children) write the series from the biography penned by Australian journalist Adele Ferguson, who will also serve as a consultant on the project.

Screentime founder Des Monaghan said of the project: “We are delighted that we won the
race to secure the rights to the story of Gina Rinehart and her father,
who have fascinated Australia for decades.”
Adding “Adele is one of Australia’s most highly regarded writers, and her
research, understanding and unprecedented access to those closest to the
family, will give an insight and greater understanding of one of the
most intriguing women in the world.”

Screentime has yet to announce when or where the series will air.
