There’s A True Crime Doco Coming That Centres Around Real Housewife Erika Jayne’s Wild Downfall

Like fucking clockwork, the ongoing legal drama involving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne and her lawyer husband Tom Girardi is being turned into a true crime doco.

The reality star announced her divorce from the lawyer (who is best known for the Erin Brokovich case – yep, he’s the dude who helped Julia Roberts’ character in the movie) earlier this year and since then, there’s been an absolute shitstorm raining over the pair.

Shortly after her announcement, both Tom Girardi and Erika Jayne were sued for embezzlement and fraud. The lawsuit alleged that their divorce filing was “simply a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom and Erika’s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm GK.”

Tom Girardi is also facing a civil lawsuit over claims that his firm embezzled money from the victims of a plane crash. It really doesn’t get more fucked up than that, now does it?

But oh wait, it does. It’s been alleged that the money he embezzled was funnelled straight into his reality star wife’s entertainment business.

Earlier this year, the State Bar of California added extra charges against Tom Girardi, which reportedly included misappropriating funds (millions of dollars in client funds, to be exact).

In the midst of all this, Tom Girardi has been placed in a temporary conservatorship after being diagnosed with dementia.

Loads of other tea has come out since then, including Erika Jayne leaking texts that allegedly prove Tom was having an affair with a powerful judge.

The documentary, aptly titled The Housewife and the Hustler, is set to be released on June 14. Head here to have a peek at the trailer (of fucking course there’s already a trailer).

Can’t wait for the documentary? Well not to worry because the whole shebang is being covered on the current season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A new episode is dropping on Hayu tonight, in fact, and when I’m done writing this article I’m gonna run the fuck home and watch it and I implore you to do the same. It’s wild, wild stuff.

Here’s a trailer for the new season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where the case is discussed at length.
