Dream result: Johnny Depp and his beautiful real-life baby mama, Vanessa Paradis, will be appearing together on-screen for a new film project My American Dream – which will be based on Simone de Beauvoir’s memoir A Transatlantic Love Affair: Letters to Nelson Algren .
The book is made up of a collection of letters that feminist philosopher de Beauvoir wrote to Algren (American novelist) during their love affair in the 1940s – and yes: Johnny and Vanessa will be playing THE LOVERS; and yes: it feels as though Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were put on this earth to play these roles. Hell – they practically ARE these roles.
This also means they will probably do a sex scene and that means we will actually get to see what it is like when Johnny Depp has sex with his actual full time lover – which is, I can only assume, the most all-time sex in the history of hot couple sex. Hopefully it will be ridiculously hot and not like when Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise hooked up in Eyes Wide Shut. That was awkward wasn’t it.
My American Dream is reportedly being helmed by Swedish director Lasse Hallstrom, who has previously collaborated with Depp on What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? (1993) and Chocolat (2000).
