Coroner Confirms Paul Walker’s Cause Of Death

It has now been several days since the tragic news that Paul Walker and Paul Rodas were killed in a car crash; countless tributes and outpourings of love continue to be seen across the world. Rodas, who was Walker’s financial adviser and good friend, is thought to have been driving the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed into a light pole and tree. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner has confirmed that Rodas died from “multiple traumatic injuries” and Walker was killed by the “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.”

The two men, who apparently bonded over their love of fast cars and co-owned an auto racing team named after Rodas’ racing shop called ‘Always Evolving,’ were on their way from an event for the charitable organisation they set up. Their charity, Reach Out Worldwide, is “a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts.”

Tributes have been pouring in from family, friends and fans, with many sharing stories of interactions they had with the actor and some of the incredibly kind things he has done. Vin Diesel posted this on his facebook:

Diesel also took time out at the crash site to thank everyone for all of the love and appreciation shown to Paul and his family:
