New ‘Star Wars’ Toys Have Given Us A Fresh Look At Supreme Leader Snoke

Full warning that there’s probably a couple of mild spoilers for The Last Jedi incoming, so if you don’t wanna know the scores, look away now.

He might’ve been a giant, battle-scarred apparition in The Force Awakens, but the all-powerful Supreme Leader Snoke is seemingly fixing to feature heavily in the upcoming eight episode of the Star Wars franchise, which is due to hit cinemas this December.

But because Star Wars is a many-armed beast charged purely with the removal of money from wallets, merchandise for the upcoming film is already hitting shelves, carrying with it a sneaky little peek at what’s to come in the film.

Snoke, being the dastardly leader of the powerful First Order, has copped a bunch of figurine and toy-related stuff that is slowly starting to hit shelves, giving us all the first real proper look at the giant stick man.

Thanks to this year’s Force Friday merchandise push, we’ve got this exceedingly adorable Snoke Funko Pop figure:

But more specifically, this incredibly detailed figurine gives us the first detailed look at Snoke, with his sheer size and scale on display for the first time.

My man up there pulling a page straight of the Ric Flair playbook with that glorious golden robe.

Thanks to another toy – the app-controlled version of BB-9E, which looks to be the First Order’s equivalent of BB-8 in The Last Jedi – we’ve even got a look at Snoke’s primary ship: The Supremacy (dope name).

The accompanying app for BB-9E features a sneaky look at The Supremacy, which is described as a Mega-class Star Destroyer, the only one of its kind, with a wingspan of an eye-watering 60 kilometres.

For what it’s worth, that eclipses the size of Darth Vader‘s super star destroyer The Executor from The Empire Strikes Back by a casual 41 kilometres. Hell’s bells.

While this naturally raises a whole mess of pressing questions, perhaps none are more important than this one:

WHAT IF INDEED.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to hit Australian cinemas on December 15th.
