Channel Ten To Combat Serial Downloading With ‘Homeland’ Super-Fast Track

Forgetting for a minute that Homeland‘s Season Three opener leaked over a month ago and has already been downloaded and watched by approximately everybody, Channel Ten is taking some legitimate, consumer-focused steps (baby steps, yes, but steps nonetheless) towards combatting piracy by streaming the highly anticipated series return almost immediately after it airs in the US.

The episode airs in the US at 9 pm on Sunday evening, which is 2 pm Monday, Australian eastern time. Ten’s online catch-up service tenplay will have the show available to stream from 2:15 pm on the east coast (That’s 1:45 in Adelaide and 12:15 in Perth). The episode will then screen on Channel Ten’s regular terrestrial network at 8:30 pm.
