Aussies Baz Luhrmann and Nicole Kidman have previously helped to promote the most classic of fragrances through a beautifully shot short film/advertisement, which explains Nicole Kidman’s presence in the Lagerfeld Confidential doco if anyone saw it (It’s like watching you Parent’s having sex or something equally as awkward when Kidman tries to channel sexy for Lagerfeld’s lens). The French fashion house has this time turned to its own countrymen to produce another short film slated for release in 2009. This time taking the lead role will be everyone’s favourite doe-eyed Frenchy Audrey Tautou, and directing her will be Jean-Pierre Jeunet the man who directed Taotou in her breakout role as Amelie.
