The complete and utter craziness of the American election is at the forefront of everyone’s minds right now, and Homeland seems to have taken that idea and run with it for the show’s long-awaited sixth season.
After spending a few years overseas, Claire Danes‘ Carrie Mathison is back in, um, her homeland, but the level of drama and clandestine shit in her life remains pretty much the same.
Per the plot description, season six of the show will “tackle the aftereffects of the U.S. presidential election, with the entire season taking place between Election Day and the inauguration.”
