‘Broad City’ Renewed For 3rd Season Ahead Of Season 2 Premiere

Daaaamn, dude! Comedy Central’s biggest underdog, Broad City, has already been green-lighted for a third season ahead of this week’s season 2 premiere.

For someone who considers both on and off screen Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson my poorly-chosen, guilty pleasure life goals, this is everything.

“It has just been brought to my attention that ‘Broad City’ is a
female-centric show, but we’re going to do more anyway,” joked Comedy Central’s Kent Alterman, in a statement (because, “lol, no, women!” – every other network). Much like the first and second season before it, Broad City’s third season will be a cruelly short 10 episodes; perfect for one night’s worth of binging once it’s all released, but pure torture for those who wait it out every week. Kill me.

Season 2 premiered on Wednesday night (as in, rn, our time); season 3 will be released in 2016, a date so hideously far away that I am literally crying right now.

But still. Inappropriately excited for this.
