Your Kweenz Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer are reportedly in the early stages of developing and producing a feature length film with the legendary Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, the upcoming Ghostbusters).
Allow me to repeat. A feature-length film.
The Hollywood Reporter has heralded the news this morning, claiming that the Broad City pair have sold a feature-length “untitled comedy project” to 20th Century Fox in partnership with Paul Feig. Jacobson and Glazer, according to THR, are not signed on to star in the project, and Feig is not signed as director.
Distressing news as it is to know a Broad City-run comedy may go ahead without its two shining stars, remember that if Abbi and Ilana can write lines such as these, this upcoming project will be the stuff of dreams.
