British Stars Unite To Recreate Iconic American Movie Moments

Your favourite British baes have united for a series of short films by Vanity Fair, showcasing beautiful people trying out their best yank accent while recreating iconic moments from American cinema.

A quick roll call includes, but is not limited to: Keira Knightley, Benedict Cumberbatch, Felicity Jones, MF Dame Judi Dench, Rosamund Pike, Michael Cane, James McAvoy, various top 100 stunning British people, etc.

The series is divided into three episodes in a supposed “British Invasion” of the American film industry, as stars recreate iconic moments – Keria Knightley doing a Meg Ryan (in case you were wondering, that particular moment has already been immortalised in a gif, duh), Felicity Jones and Tom Hiddleston doing a Bonnie & Clyde, Judi Dench delivering the “I’ll have what she’s having”…you get the idea.

It’s a bit of a naff concept, but then again, so is Hollywood.

The videos have been released in conjunction with Vanity Fair’s annual white-washed parade, their Hollywood Issue, notoriously featuring an Annie Leibovitz cover of celebrities falling languidly over each other, dressed to the nines and Judging. You.

Last year, VF surprised us with a cover that actually featured racial diversity; this year, it’s back to business as usual. A/W ’15 trends looking alarmingly beige:

Felicity Jones’ RBF, tho.

Anyway, here is your beautiful British people doing beautiful American things treat of the day:
