It’s Been 10 Years Since ‘Breaking Bad’ Started, So Here’s A Cute Recap Vid

Somehow, it’s been a whole ten years since the first episode of Breaking Bad aired. It’s a tough concept to come to terms with, but it’s true – season 1 episode 1 aired in January of 2008, with the series wrapping up in 2013 after 5 seasons.

For those who haven’t seen it, Breaking Bad is about a chemistry teacher who, upon learning he has lung cancer, starts cooking meth with the help of an ex-student to provide for his family.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, AMC Spain released a cute little cartoon recap video summing up then entire show in roughly a minute. You can check it out below, but there’s tonnes of spoilers, so keep that in mind if you’re keen to watch it.

Aaron Paul, the actor who played Jesse Pinkman, tweeted the recap and a little blurb about the show’s anniversary, thanking creator, Vince Gilligan, for cooking up such a “crazy concept”.

Gilligan’s latest show, Better Call Saul, explores how Breaking Bad character, Saul Goodman, became the dodgy-as-fuck lawyer that aided criminals in the former. All three seasons are on Stan right now, so you should definitely suss them out, with season 4 due out later this year.

SCIENCE, BITCH.
