Citing sources with close knowledge of the deal, Deadline reports the sequel to the game-changing television series will premiere on the streaming platform before it hits AMC, the show’s original network.

It is believed the movie will follow Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), the meth chef who was last seen escaping the clutches of neo-Nazis. Godspeed, Jesse.

Paul’s on-screen counterpart Bryan Cranston confirmed the existence of the movie last year, but was circumspect on the chances of his teacher-turned-kingpin Walter White returning for a continuation of the story.

Deadline states Vince Gilligan‘s project is being filmed as a feature, but it’s unclear whether it will be presented as a single film or serialised in some capacity.

Most details on the project have been pretty few and far between, actually.

While audiences have been given gritty new perspectives on the world of Breaking Bad thanks to prequel series Better Call Saul, there are still so many questions a follow-up film could answer. Besides, we need closure on Walt Jr. What’s he up to these days?
