Scarlet magazine is going through some big changes, as hinted at the end of last season, with Editor-in-Chief Jacqueline (Melora Hardin) no longer calling the shots.

Jane (Katie Stevens) finds her relationship in turmoil after her boyfriend kissed someone else on a book tour, while Sutton (Meghann Fahy) is having a go at being a fashion influencer.

You can go ahead and check out the brand new trailer below:

The Bold Type is based on the life and experiences of Joanna Coles, former editor in chief of Cosmopolitan magazine. Melora Hardin said of Coles:

“She inspires the whole story. I’ve met her and we’ve become friends, and she’s just a wonderful woman. She is a real woman’s woman, a real advocate. But I’m obviously not playing her, it’s not a biopic. What’s interesting is, she is actually my boss. She is very much the kind of boss that Jacqueline is. She’s not threatening, not competitive. Just very joyful.”

You can catch the first three seasons of The Bold Type right now on Stan, and Season 4 is coming on January 24, 2020.
