Billie Eilish Tearfully Apologises, Runs Off Stage After Spraining Ankle In Italy

Musicians need to be absolute troopers to travel the world and deliver stellar performances day in and day out along with press and all that other crap, and they don’t get nearly enough credit for this; including Billie Eilish.

Since launching her career, the 17-year-old has been on a seemingly endless tour, including her recent visit to Australia.

Considering the number of shows the teen does every week, an unfortunate incident is bound to occur at some point and sadly it has in Italy.

Eilish was singing her hit track ‘Bad Guy’ and putting 110% into the performance by jumping to amp up the crowd when she sprained her ankle.

Following the injury, Eilish sat down to collect herself and explain what had happened to her Italian fans.

“Dude, I sprained my ankle immediately. That’s so embarrassing. Ugh, and dude, I sprained this one, like, a month ago. This shit hurts,” Billie told the crowd.

“It’s so stupid because I’m, like, choked up right now because I’d rather not do a show than do a crappy version for you, like I just want to give you a good show, like I can’t,” she continued, visibly choked up and on the verge of tears.

As the pain and emotions became too much for Billie, she told the crowd that she had to leave stage to tend to her injury.

“Oh, this is so trash. This is literally a nightmare for real. I can’t do this. I’m sorry, bro,” she said before running off the stage.

Billie was already dealing with her other injured ankle after spraining it in Los Angeles just a few weeks earlier and there’s only so much pain one person can handle.

God speed with the recovery, my friend.
