The 1st ‘Big Brother’ 2020 Contestant Has Been Leaked & He Looks Like Russell Coight’s BFF

The first Big Brother Australia contestant for 2020 has been revealed and, wouldn’t ya bloody know it, he’s a man in an Akubra.

Former winner Ben Norris, who has been given the full list of contestants appearing on the Channel 7 series, revealed details about the first contestant – Ian W from Western Australia – on TV Blackbox’s streaming show The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show.

“He is a big fan of archaeology, I’m not necessarily sure if archaeology is what he does for his profession,” Ben revealed.

“That signature hat that you can see him wearing on the show is a bit of a talking point, a way of him getting to know people,” he said.

“Apparently he is a very good conversationalist and from all that I’ve heard apparently he does very well on this upcoming series.”

Norris added that old mate Ian quickly became a fave with producers during the audition process.

The publication adds that producers have been casting a set of characters to play the game and have gathered ‘a Tradie, nerdy scientist, mummy blogger, sports star and corporate type’ in the interest of reflecting modern Australia.

Big Brother is set to return in June, catch the first teaser below:
