‘Big Bang’ Finally Carks It, Lonely Island Returns & More Telly News This Week

Hey there, you sexy pop culture aficionados.

So much has happened on our screens this past week that it can be quite difficult to keep up-to-date with all the razzle dazzle. Never fear, friends, we have your backs. Are you ready for a weekly round-up of all things pop culture? Let’s dive in.

The Big Bang Theory: Bye

The news that The Big Bang Theory had finally ended was surprising, primarily because many of us didn’t realise it had still been running in the first place. Nonetheless, Big Bang attracted a loyal following and proved to us that brains can attract a mate. 12 seasons is also pretty bloody impressive. Sheldon Cooper for PM – vote 1.

Game of Thrones: Meh

Unless you’ve been hibernating for the past minute, or dodging all Game of Thrones news like a determined fish amongst a swarm of hungry sharks, GoT concluded its 8th and final season. It’s probably the most polarising season, with many people questioning the writing and production. There is one thing we can all agree on, though – that Starbucks coffee cup was the greatest cameo of all time.

Lonely Island: Jizz

Lonely Island dropped a new project on Netflix titled The Unauthorised Bash Brothers Experience, which is a 30-minute “visual poem” parodying iconic 90’s baseball duo Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire. We can confirm, the entire project is jizz-free, unless we’re speaking metaphorically… Now that’s a home run.

Orange Is the New Black: </3

The seventh and final season of Orange Is the New Black will premiere on Netflix on July 26. “After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison. I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with,” creator Jenji Kohan stated. We’re not ugly crying… YOU ARE.
