A ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ Reboot Ft. OG Stars Is Coming ‘Cos 1999 Never Ended

Beverly Hills 90210, the 90s teen soap which inspired countless imitators, is reportedly coming back for a reboot with the majority of its original cast. No, not a reboot of 90210, the follow-up series which arrived in 2008, and no, not a reboot of Melrose Place, the earlier Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off. We’re talking a reboot of the original Beverly Hills 90210, folks. Obviously.

Deadline reports cast members including Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Gabrielle Carteris, and Ian Ziering is in the works, with a cluster of American networks and streaming services apparently keen on obtaining the rights.

Notably, Shannen Doherty – who left the show after its first four seasons due to significant rifts with other cast members – is not thought to be attached to the project. It’s also unclear if Luke Perry is attached in any significant capacity.

The outlet notes that it was Spelling herself who first clued the world onto the existence of the potential reboot back in March. Spelling dropped an Instagram post with a hashtag referencing her Beverly Hills 90210 character Donna Martin, and Garth’s character Kelly Taylor. Cheeky.

With any luck, the rebooted show will kick up just as many legendary moments as 90210. In case you forgot how that masterpiece panned out:

Can’t wait.
