Aussie ‘Survivor’ Power Couple Mark & Sam Are Expecting A Blessed Bebé

Samantha Gash and Mark Wales, the loved-up phoenix who rose from the ashes of this year’s Australian Survivor with the ultimate prize (it’s love. The prize is love, okay), have today revealed that they’ve got even luckier – the couple is totally preggers with Australia‘s first Survivor baby.

In an interview with New Idea, the pair confirmed that 33-year-old former corporate lawyer Sam is 18 weeks pregnant. She’s even shared the ultrasound on Insta, because that is definitely the standard procedure these days.

HELLO LITTLE HAND.

The two met while on the island in Samoa where this year’s Survivor competition was held, and while their alliance was initially platonic, things soon took a turn for the romantical when they found themselves back in the real world.

They seem completely besotted with each other, and absolutely over the moon about their bubba on the way, with 37-year-old former army bloke Mark telling New Idea, “It’s definitely a big surprise, but we are delighted.

Sam followed up with probably the sweetest sentence ever uttered by a former reality TV contestant: “We may not have won on Survivor, but we came away with a much bigger prize.

The couple live in what sounds like paradise in the Dandenongs, and reportedly care exactly zilch about the gender of their family’s new addition – which makes sense, since gender isn’t a factor in winning Survivor, and if there’s ever been a baby with a bright future of outwitting, outsmarting and outlasting a gaggle of other bandanna-ed manipulators, it’s this one.

Congrats, guys.
