Arnold Schwarzenegger Jokes About Smashing Trump’s Face Into A Table

Donald Trump has spent the last few weeks wildly issuing executive orders and throwing tantrums because the judicial branch won’t blindly do what he wants. Amazingly enough, in the midst of all that, the president has still somehow found the time to engage in a Twitter beef with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California and current Celebrity Apprentice host, urged his fellow Republicans to “choose your country over your party” before supporting Trump. In characteristic style, Trump shot back, mocking Arnie’s ratings on the show and saying “so much for being a movie star.”

Schwarzenegger responded by taking the high road, sharing his favourite Abraham Lincoln quote with Trump and wishing him the best of luck governing for “ALL of the American people.” Behind the scenes, however, it seems that the Governator considered a slightly more drastic course of action.

In a recent interview with Men’s Journal, Schwarzenegger said that, after seeing Trump’s Tweets:

“I said, ‘Let’s sit on it for an hour. I called my assistant and said, ‘I think what we really should do is request a meeting and go back to New York. And then we just smash his face into the table. And then I think we can’t do that either. I think I have to be above all of that and put him on the spot.’”
Wise decision there, all things considered.
In recent days, Trump has continued throwing jabs at Arnie, saying that he “did a really bad job” as governor of California. His rival then graciously offered to switch jobs with him. We’ll certainly see how that one goes.
