Angelina Jolie Will Direct Her New Film ‘Unbroken’ In NSW

Put on your stalking boots – Angelina Jolie has confirmed that she will direct her new film Unbroken in several locations across Sydney and regional New South Wales, after bringing her thirty-five children to Australia last month to scout for locations and call for extras.

Unbroken will tell the story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympian who endured 47 days and nights in a life raft with a Bengal tiger after a World War II plane crash, and was eventually imprisoned in a Japanese POW camp.

Ange and Brad can get down to some bootscootin’ in Australia’s home of country music, Tamworth, which has been cited as a likely location for filming. Werris Creek and Scone (the town, not the cakey treat) have also been earmarked as possible shooting locations. The shoot is likely to generate over 300 jobs for cast and crew members sourced locally.
