A document claiming to list the winners of the 81st Academy Awards has been leaked online.
Take this with a grain of salt as it doesn’t look hard to doctor but the listed winners are Slumdog Millionaire for Best Picture, Mickey Rourke for Best Actor, Heath Ledger for Best Supporting Actor, Kate Winslet for Best Actress and Amy Adams for Best Supporting Actress. With the exception of Adams the listed winners are consistent with most critic’s picks so come Awards night we’ll see how correct the list actually is.
The document which features an Academy letterhead and is signed by President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science Sid Ganis reads: This is the final list of winners of the 81st annual academy awards. As always, please treat this information with extreme care. Perhaps it should read “please treat this information with extreme skepticism”.
