Yesterday, the people of the West Australian town of Cowaramup came together in the pursuit of a common goal, something bigger than any one of them, for the betterment of humanity. Their aim was to smash the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed in cow suits, and boy, did they succeed.
At the town’s annual show, a total of 1352 people showed up dressed in black-and-white cow onesies, annihilating the previous record of 470 people, which was held by the town of Fairfax, Virginia. Cowaramup has long been known as a “cow town” thanks to its local dairy industry … this madness has just solidified that reputation.
Lest anyone should assume Cowaramup weren’t taking this world record attempt seriously, the rules for participation were very strict:

Even local dogs joined in, including this adorable pug:

And the result was one fairly epic gathering of onesie-wearing lunatics:

Citizens of Cowaramup, the name of your town sounds kind of dirty, but we salute you.
