Throw Yr Diet Out The Window ’Coz Smith’s Just Brought Back *Those* Garlic Bread Chippies

Chuck your diet in the bin because Smith’s are bringing back the cult-fave garlic bread chips.

The popular flavour first entered our shelves and our hearts back in June last year in partnership with Pizza Hut. And, as you’d expect, they sold out in a matter of hours.

Everybody loves garlic bread, everybody loves chips, what more could you want?

This time, the chippies aren’t released in collaboration with Pizza Hut, so if you’re a garlic bread aficionado, you might find that these taste a little different. I mean, they’re not Pizza Hut specific GB, just regular GB.

The crinkle cut (aka the best kind) chips are coming back for a limited time in a brand new footy-themed packaging to coincide with the upcoming finals season.

“Kick off a top night of footy with a guaranteed winner! We’ve brought back our crowd-pleasing Smith’s Garlic Bread Flavour for a limited time only. Game On,” the product description reads.

I’m gonna take a wild guess and assume that the “limited time” is probably only until the end of footy season, so if you want a packet or 37, you’d better get a wriggle on before they sell out.

For only $3.30 at Woolworths and Coles, you can stuff a whole packet of garlicky goodness down your throat while you’re watching the footy. You’ll likely regret it when you see you reflection in the greasy reflective coating of the bag, but who cares, you got to taste the good shit.
