A little while ago, M&M’s announced they had a glorious creation on the way – Hazelnut Spread M&M’s.

HAZELNUT SPREAD.

Judging by the real generic name, this new product doesn’t appear to be in partnership with the official Nutella brand but when one says “hazelnut spread” Nutella soon follows.

For the moment – and unfortunately – the product is only set to launch across the United States in 2019 but M&M’s is such a universal brand that surely it’ll head Down UnderAnd, it’s not like this product will tank – they’re basically little Nutella bites.

The M&Ms won’t be available in the States until April 2019 so here’s bloody hoping they’ll hit our shores in the following months.

PEOPLE – lucky, lucky people were sent a sample bag of the new chocolate hazelnut treats and well, their review says it all:

The M&M’s scored high marks across the board among PEOPLE staffers, with many remarking upon the delightful textural contrast that is not present in the classic version. The creamy filling is the perfect foil to the hard outer shell, and the layer of milk chocolate in the middle acts as an intermediary between the two.

Overall, we give the Hazelnut Spread M&M’s a solid A rating.

You’re lying if your mouth didn’t just water a little.

Innovation, innovation, innovation.

Oh, and M&M’s is also releasing a range of chocolate bars in the flavours Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Crispy, Crispy Mint, and Almond…

… these will probably only be available in the States for the moment, too.

Other things that are yet to reach our shores:

Sigh.
