Ben And Jerry’s Is Giving Out Thousands Of Ice Creams Tubs This Week For Whoever Gets In First

Ben and Jerry's

Ben and Jerry’s are giving away thousands of free ice creams across Australia, but you’ll have to solve their secret clues quickly if you want to gain access to pints of deliciousness.

In a partnership with Uber Eats, Ben and Jerry’s will be kicking off ice cream week, which has come just in time to fight all twenty heatwaves that are expected to lash NSW & QLD over the coming days.

Launching December 1, which according to my calculations is today, the two companies will be handing out 1,000 tubs of free ice cream in each state across a single week, or as they put it, “six days, six cities, six thousand pints of ice cream”. I mean, I barely need six reasons to sign up for this. FREE. ICE. CREAM. That’s all I need to know.

So what’s the catch? Well, you’re going to have to work for your free tub of love, but not too hard. Uber Eats and Ben and Jerry’s will be spreading clues across Instagram that you’ll have to solve to get your code. Once you’ve got the code, enter it in Uber Eats, pay the tiny delivery fee, and the free ice cream will be yours.

You’ll have to be quick to solve the riddles though, as there are a limited amount of tubs on offer, so whoever gets their noggins to work the fastest will get first dibs.

The offer will kick off in Melbourne, where there are 1,500 pints up for the taking. After this, the offer will head to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and the Gold Coast in that order.

You can usually find the clues on the Uber Eats Instagram page, but thankfully we’ve got the first two cryptic clues for Sydney and Melbourne, which have us completely stumped.

Basically, you’ll be searching for clues, which point towards a “famous local face” who has your sweet, sweet clue for the day. Enter that baby in and you’re set!

Melbourne: ‘Rather than unmask the location of our first code, all we’ll reveal is that if you live in Victoria this person could be right next door.’

Sydney (Wednesday): ‘This hint isn’t a page-turner. You’ll just always find this summer favourite on this famous stretch of sand.’

So yeah, if you would like to get your hands on the free cream before I do, it’s time to get solving.

All these years playing Professor Layton have to be worth something.
