Veterinary and animal science students at the University of Sydney have whipped off their lab coats once again for the school’s annual nude charity calendar, with the proceeds from this latest effort going towards much-needed drought relief.

“For almost a decade, University of Sydney veterinary students have bared all to raise money for a
charity of their choice,” said calendar coordinator Molly Greentree. “This year 100% of funds raised will be donated to Buy a Bale following the severity of the current drought.”

The calendar has gone viral in recent years, and they are hoping repeat the same trick this time, raising more funds than ever before in order to help out those farmers who desperately need it.

“Farming is close to the hearts of our vet students, many of whom either come from or will end up on the land and in rural communities,” said Greentree.

Around 70 students took part in the photo shoots for the 2019 calendar, having their pics snapped around the university’s various farms as well as a local dairy, where Greentree says some people saw “more than they bargained for” as they drove past the property.

“Last year the calendar raised over $9100 for rural mental health and this year we would love to surpass this with the aim of surpassing $10 000 in order to support our Aussie farmers during this drought.” If you’re feeling so inclined, you can go ahead and buy your charity calendar right here.
