Young Olympia Ohanian is already breaking records: she’s become the youngest-ever person to feature on the cover of Vogue.
The baby daughter of world-dominating tennis star Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian joins her mum on the front of the magazine’s February edition, and looks cute as hell doing so.

We’re sure Olympia would have her say in the accompanying feature piece if, you know, she was old enough to talk, but the input from her mum is compelling enough on its own. The details are legitimately incredible, and speak to Williams’ strength off the court.
The piece details Williams’ recovery from her emergency C-section, and complications caused by her previous struggles with blood clots: feeling short of breath, and recognising the potential impact of skipping her usual anticoagulants due to the surgery, Williams advised hospital staff she needed a CT scan, ASAP.
A subsequent CT scan revealed a series of small clots had made their way to her lungs. “I was like, listen to Dr. Williams!” she said. But those clots caused coughing fits, which split her still-healing C-section incision. After another surgery – and the discovery of a haematoma – Williams returned home, but spent the next six weeks bedridden.
“No one talks about the low moments—the pressure you feel, the incredible letdown every time you hear the baby cry,” Williams said.
“I’ve broken down I don’t know how many times. Or I’ll get angry about the crying, then sad about being angry, and then guilty, like, Why do I feel so sad when I have a beautiful baby? The emotions are insane.”
Williams, who recently announced that she would not be returning to the Australian Open to defend her title, also expressed her immense desire to get back to dominance on the court. Reading this, it really doesn’t sound too far off for one of the planet’s most driven competitors.
