Rose McGowan Explicitly Names Weinstein As Her Rapist For The 1st Time

Rose McGowan has, for the first time, named Harvey Weinstein has her rapist.

In a series of tweets directed at Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, McGowan broke her silence after a two decades.

“Jeff Bezos, I told the head of your studio that HW [Harvey Weinstein] raped me,” she said. “Over and over I said it. He said it hadn’t been proven. I said I was the proof.”

She said that after Amazon Studios won “a dirty Oscar”, she tried to get the script she had sold them back – but that her show was “dead”, anyway.

“I forcibly begged studio to do the right thing. I was ignored. Deal was done. Amazon won a dirty Oscar.”

She called on Bezos to stamp out this complicity from the top.

“I am calling on you to stop funding rapists, alleged pedos and sexual harassers,” she said. “I love Amazon but there is rot in Hollywood.”
