TV For Topshop

To the continued success of Australian brands abroad! A week after St. Augustine Academy nabbed the highly coveted shelf space of Opening Ceremony (albeit in Tokyo, not NYC), hard-to-Google Melbourne label TV have announced their involvement with Emerge, the designer collaboration showcase spruiked by High Street giant Topshop.

No stranger to gargantuan High Street partnerships, TV’s design duo of Monika Tywanek and Ingrid Verner have previously worked with collaboration-prone locals Sportsgirl and see their partnership with Topshop as a means to grow their European fan base and gauge the location of their first international show.

Said designers Monika Tywanek and Ingrid Verner: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive response our brand has received from Europe, Asia and the Americas. This collaboration is one of many that will draw our brand closer to its rising international fan base…Our presence in the European markets will help define which city we show our next collection in, we have always been interested in showing in London or New York.

TV’s “Nothing But Flowers” collection will be available at Topshop (UK) stores and topshop.com from this month. Consult the look book for just how gorgeous/inventive their wares are.
