After announcing a 14 date tour of America (their first since 2008) the new look Smashing Pumpkins have also hinted at a 2010 jaunt Down Under. Announced yesterday via the band’s official Twitter account Mr. Corgan or some record company intern said the following: “The Pumpkins also plan to tour South America and Australia in 2010”.
We pegged The Pumpkins in our initial Splendour In The Grass lineup prediction and according to their touring schedule they wrap up their US tour in Florida on the 21st of July and their next listed gig is on the 7th and 8th of August as part of Japan’s Summersonic music festival. We should expect an Australian tour around that time.
