Eagles Of Death Metal were playing a show when the attack began.
A short time ago, the group made a statement via social media, saying that they are still trying to determine the safety of all their band and crew members in the aftermath of the incident:

Band members reportedly safe, and Emily Dorio, the wife of band member Julian Dorio spoke to The Washington Post, indicating that she spoke to her husband shortly after the incident. She said:
“We are just holding our breath and saying prayers for everyone. He called to say that he loved me and he was safe. Everyone on stage was able to get off.”
(UPDATE: We mistakenly reported that Josh Homme was at the show, but reports now indicate that he was not, the story has been updated to reflect this).
France has closed its borders, with President Francois Hollande calling the attacks “unprecedented” and “a horror” and saying, in an address to the nation:
“We have to show compassion and solidarity and we also have to show unity and keep our cool. France must be strong and great.”
