Eagles Of Death Metal Merch Manager Nick Alexander Confirmed Dead In Paris

36-year-old Nick Alexander, the merchandising manager for Eagles Of Death Metal, has today been confirmed as one of the casualties of the terror attacks that shook Paris on Friday evening.

Yesterday saw conflicting reports as to how many people were killed when gunmen opened fire inside the Bataclan concert hall during the band’s performance, one of several attacks across the city.
Agence France-Presse initially reported that the number was more than 100, however, the latest figures indicate that around 80 people in the venue lost their lives in the senseless attack.
In a statement, Alexander’s family said:
“It is with huge sorrow that we can confirm that our beloved Nick lost his life at the Bataclan last night. Nick was not just our brother, son and uncle, he was everyone’s best friend – generous, funny and fiercely loyal.”

Alexander’s girlfriend Polina Buckley posted a heartbreaking tribute on Twitter, saying “you are and always will he the love of my life.”

Alexander had also worked as a merch manager for Sum 41, Panic! At The Disco and The Black Keys.
The official death toll from yesterday’s attacks stands at 129, with 350 more injured, many of them in critical condition.
