Eagles Of Death Metal Give Harrowing First Interview Since Paris Massacre

Eagles Of Death Metal have spoken out for the first time since gunmen opened fire at their Bataclan show on Friday November 13, as part of a coordinated wave of terror attacks across Paris, and given a harrowing account of the night.
In a trailer for the interview, released overnight by Vice, singer Jesse Hughes explains the unthinkable scenes that unfolded at the Bataclan, leaving 89 people at the venue dead, including the band’s merchandising manager Nick Alexander.
He said:
“Several people hid in our dressing room, and the killers were able to get in and kill every one of them, except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket … People were playing dead, and they were so scared. A great reason why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn’t leave their friends, so many people put themselves in front of people.”
Vice will release the full interview in days to come.
