Blockbuster movies sure love to blow up iconic world landmarks to let you know that shit is going down, but it’s not often the destruction makes its way to Australia (with exceptions like that shot in Independence Day with the crashed saucer next to the Harbour Bridge), but lucky us, we get to see our beloved Opera House get blown up in the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer.

Apocalypse is the third movie in Bryan Singer‘s “hey, it’s the young X-Men doing cool shit” trilogy, which explores a lot of characters from the previous trilogy’s backstories and appears to be doing some weird shit with timelines.
The movie will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and a whole bunch of other people but, most importantly, unbelievable heart-throb and Star Wars star Oscar Isaac as part-God / part-mutant Apocalypse.
It’s set to hit cinemas late May which is not even that many sleeps.
