Ya Leaky Roof Is Nothin’: The #SydneyStorm Pulled A Huge Pool Into The Sea

Hoooooly dooly.
So, if you’ve even glanced at a news channel over the past 48+ hours, you would have seen that tonnes of areas all over Australia are struggling with some seriously stormy winter blues right now.
NSW is copping a particularly nasty battering at the moment, however – check these photos from Collaroy Beach, on Sydney‘s Northern Beaches
A giant storm and the ocean are not such a great mix, it turns out. It was so violent that it’s not only damaged houses and sent some properties completely underwater, it’s actually totally torn away residents’ yards and pulled a huge underground swimming pool halfway into the goddamn sea
Reports are showing widespread damage across the coastline of Collaroy Beach:

There’s also been huge damage to the local watering hole, the Collaroy Beach Hotel, which had much more balcony last week than it does now:

Yeesh. Stay safe, everyone.
