Hooooooh-boy, this is a good’un.
Peter Dutton is appearing on the 7.30 Report tonight, and the kind folks over at the ABC have asked the public what q’s they have for our Immigration Minister.
Do you have a question for Peter Dutton?
We’ll have him on the show tonight talking #naurudetention + #auspol pic.twitter.com/A0PDTZuwWi— abc730 (@abc730) February 3, 2016
Literally within seconds, ‘the public’ took this opportunity to express their general disgust with our offshore detention policies, in particular relation to the news that as a result of the High Court‘s decision today, hundreds of refugees, including children and babies, will likely be deported from Australia to Nauru within 72 hours.
Let’s be real here: 7.30 knew *exactly* what they were doing. Tonight’s show is gonna be a doozy, folks.
@abc730 “You’re in a desert. A tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun. But you’re not helping. Why is that, Peter?”

@abc730 Is 5yo rape victim a bigger threat to our sovereignty than the TPP? Or tax dodging corp giants? Or bombing homes of future refugees

@abc730 @workmanalice Is it true that a witch cast a spell on a potato causing it to come alive and you are the result?

— Simon Chapman AO (@SimonChapman6) February 3, 2016
@abc730 why did he get into public service? Was it so he could be in charge of the torture, rape & detention of kids & babies? Is he proud?
— Melanie (@sydneygrrl) February 3, 2016
@abc730 Do we know who is committing these sexual assaults reported every 13 days on Nauru against refugees, mainly children?
— Kathryn Bridges (@009Kat) February 3, 2016
@abc730 A train leave Sydney at 5pm, one from Melbourne at 6pm; if they travel the same speed how can you look your own mother in the eye?

And so on and so forth.
