The first teaser for Gore Verbinksi‘s ‘A Cure For Wellness‘ has dropped, and it looks creepy as shit.
It stars Dane DeHaan as an ambitious young executive who is sent to collect his company’s CEO (Jason Isaacs, i.e. Lucius Malfoy) from a mysterious wellness centre in the remote Swiss Alps.
As you might have guessed, things are not all as they seem. As the young gun begins to unravel the mysteries of the spa’s ‘miraculous’ treatments, he his sanity being tested as he himself becomes diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests trapped here longing for the cure.
The film also stars Nymphomaniac‘s Mia Goth, in an as-yet-undetermined role.
And hey, if you go to www.acureforwellness.com you’ll get a taste for what that cure is – kinda. The website has three different ‘meditations’ designed to give you maximum chills.
Verbinksi might have more recently spent his time wrangling Johnny Depp through three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Rango and The Lone Ranger, but the dude’s also responsible for one of horror’s most iconic films, The Ring. Get hyped.
