Folks, smash that motherfuckin’ fave button if you know that extremely relatable feeling when you almost get turned into a human-flavoured relish by a speeding train while fucking around dirtbikes with your mates. We’ve all been there.
An unfortunate / fortunate dirtbike rider nearly had his clock permanently cleaned by a high-speed train in near Ballan in Victoria on the weekend, after leaping out of the way at only the very last moment (and apparently losing his bike in the process).
According to V/Line driver Colin Sharp, he saw the bloke and tried to slow down, but could only slow down so much on account of he was doing 160km/h, only spotted him at the last second and trains weigh a fucking ton:
“As soon as I saw him, [I had to apply] the emergency brake … and still went past him doing 147 [kph] at that stage,” he told 3AW radio. He was pushing the bike across the bridge, which was a pretty silly thing to do.“He’s seen me [and] fumbled the bike trying to get the bike off [the tracks] and finally got some sense and decided to get himself off the track and leave the bike right where it was.”
