Bjork and Thom Yorke Hook Up

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has lent his choir boy falsetto to a new Bjork track. Like she needs vocal assistance pfft.

The new track entitled “Nattura” is set for an October 20 release through One Little Indian, and marks the second time the two have collaborated. The first being “I’ve Seen It All” for Bjork’s most notable film role in “Dancer In The Dark”.

Thom Yorke and Bjork are no strangers to inter-gender duets having worked with PJ Harvey and Antony Hegarty respectively.

Nattura, incidentally, is also the name of an Icelandic environmental group who organised a free concert featuring Sigur Ros and Bjork earlier this year. A press release from Nattura explains the collaboration:

“Nattura (which features Thom Yorke from Radiohead on backing vocals) highlights a grass-roots movement in Iceland to reclaim the country’s natural resources and wilderness from the hands of big business and pollution,” the release explains. “But Nattura is more of a protest and rallying cry rather than a lecture. Nattura.info is a new website about Icelandic environmental hotspots.”
