Will Gotye‘s new video for single “Easy Way Out” get as many hits (or 84 million YouTube views) as the unstoppable body paint juggernaut of “Somebody That I Used To Know”?
Well, a lot has happened between then and now – such as 84 MILLION YOUTUBE VIEWS, a worldwide hit, several ARIA Awards, a Jimmy Kimmel appearance, celebrity endorsements, a cover by a world famous primary school choir among others.
Ergo, Gotye is rich now. And this brilliant animated film clip made by Melbourne director Darcy Prendergast of Oh Yeah Wow looks as though it cost more than a few cans of body paint.
Bonus points for the glimpse of a naked Wally De Backer with just a strategically placed towel to cover his privates.
