$2.8M Worth Of Cocaine-Coated Cornflakes Has Been Seized, So Maybe I’ll Finally Start My Day Right

Police have seized $2.82 million worth of cocaine-coated cornflakes in the US, so pour one out for the poor dude who has to have Sultana Bran for breakfast now.

According to U.S Customs and Border Protection, a shipment of cereal being imported from South America was intercepted in Cincinnati.

The shipment contained a whopping 44 pounds (19.95kg) of cocaine-coated cornflakes, which sounds much more appetising than snorting it off the toilet seat at Revs, to be quite honest.

Officers have valued the haul at $2,822,400USD, which *might* be what our parents are talking about when they say that Gen Z can’t afford to buy a house because we spend too much money on brunch.

But to make this story even better, the haul was found thanks to a narcotics dogs named, wait for it, Bico. I can only assume that Bico has been awarded “best boy” for his coke-sniffing efforts.

You truly have to applaud the smugglers for their efforts here. I mean, cocaine-coated cornflakes? Now that’s innovation.

But the Cincinnati Port Director Richard Gillespie made a point of the fact that smugglers are continually trying to hide their goods in the craziest of places.

“The men and women at the Port of Cincinnati are committed to stopping the flow of dangerous drugs, and they continue to use their training, intuition, and strategic skills to prevent these kinds of illegitimate shipments from reaching the public,” Gillespie said.
