The Veronicas have hinted that “Untouched” might be getting a bit of a revamp when they head to Good Things festival in December. The duo will be heading to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as part of the gig, and you know they didn’t come to play.
Jess took to Instagram to announce their participation in the festival, alongside the caption: “You better believe I am turning Untouched Screamo for these shows.” I’m so fucking here for this.

It turns out she’s no stranger to ye ole screamo rendition, though – she later tweeted an old Youtube compilation that featured some past performances dabbling in the screaming realm. Watch the below video and gasp in awe at how her vocal chords have managed to survive.

It wasn’t long before the trusty internet was set ablaze in anticipation of the twins’ set. A Facebook event even popped up: “Wall of death when The Veronica’s play Untouched at Good Things”. I’m cackling.
The creator DM’d the duo, and they actually replied with their tick of approval.
They’ll be joined by the likes of Simple Plan, Violent Soho and Parkway Drive at the festival.
BRB, just chucking on my eyeliner and side fringe in anticipation.
