Continuing this year’s solid run of extremely good Like A Version performances, Cub Sport have laid down a cover of Billie Eilish‘s ‘when the party’s over‘ and holy shit you guys, it’s 10/10 goosebump material.

Looking like a couple of angels sitting back to back on a piano stool, Cubbies’ darlings Tim Nelson and David Netterfield brought their ethereal, beloved harmonies to the table as they tinkered on the keys through the Billie Eilish hit. It’s stripped back bare, and it’s gorgeous.
I know Billie’s OG version is so delicate and stunning, and somehow Cub Sport and their Aussie spin has matched that goosebump-inducing perfection. So much so that some people have joked that Billie Eilish actually wrote the song for Cub Sport. Bit off a long game there, I like it.
