You Can Airbnb Rose Leslie’s Childhood Home & Did We Mention It’s A Castle?

Happy news out of Westeros this week: extremely loved-up humans Rose Leslie and Kit Harington are engaged.

If you’re already wondering where they might say ‘I do’, consider the medieval castle where she *actually* grew up – which, coincidentally, is now yours to rent through Airbnb thanks to Rose’s parents Sebastian and Candy Leslie, who have been running it as a B&B for years.

Called Lickleyhead Castle, in Insch, Scotland, her non-Wildling childhood home features seven bedrooms – some of which are “tucked away in turrets” – seven bathrooms, a cozy sitting room and dining room with enough seating for you and 15 mates.

According to the listing, the very GoT-vibes home is “a great venue for family gatherings, reunions and birthday celebrations. It is quiet and secluded and very private set in beautiful parkland surrounded by mature trees and lawns. There is a barbecue area with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining with a burn (stream) running past. In the past we have hosted small weddings.”

Check it out:

The castle has a five-star average rating and requires a minimum two-night stay, starting at £600 per night (that’s about AU$1,025).

The listing states that Candy herself is “available before and during your stay for any information or queries. I always meet and greet guests, show them round and hand over the keys.”

Not that we promote stalking, but it would be a complete waste not to at least ask her a couple of questions. Like, ‘Which room has Jon Kit slept in? And have the sheets been watched since? With this type of upbringing, is it any wonder Ygritte fell for a future king?’

Plus, if Lickleyhead plays host to Leslie’s nuptials to Harington, imagine being able to boast that you, having stayed there, essentially count as a wedding guest once-removed?
