This bistro and bar, where you can also pick up a top notch coffee, is the kind of place where everyone knows your name. (Provided you make more than one trip through). It’s consistently filled with regulars and as an added bonus for any young singles heading over, usually overflowing with hot 20-somethings. Get it while they’re hot!

A favourite of locals and tourists alike, at this point Mzoli’s is a bona-fide Capetonian institution. It’s actually a butchery that regularly has large scale street party / BBQ situations and is generally going off during both day and night. (As seen above).

According to those in the know, at Truth you will find some of the best coffee in the world. But in their own words: “Having a world-renowned cafe can seem to distract from our core business. Roasting coffee.” Not only that, they’ve committed wholly to a theme and have a massive old timey, fully functional coffee machine at the heart of the business and a hundred% steampunk interior. (All moustaches on site are fully twirled at all times).
