BRACE YR TOMBS: Lara Croft Is Back For More In ‘Shadow Of The Tomb Raider’

Well folks, if you’re ready to get down and dirty in a tomb or two, the hour is almost upon us. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is finally hitting the shelves on September 14th and we are absolutely prepared for a bigger and better Lara to manoeuvre herself up and down ragged cliff faces, hair rustling in the breeze.

And let it be said, it looks as though the ante is well and truly upped, with even more intense challenges now that Lara has up-skilled nicely to become a legitimate weapon – so ya know, the hordes of swarming bad guys better watch out.

The title is the third in the most recent iteration of the Croft saga and I for one am already chomping at the bit to get my hands on some more exciting female-led content. Lara is a bloody boss (literally – a lot of the time she is staggering around covered in the stuff, she’s the real deal) who doesn’t take any shit from anyone, so I am all for it.

As someone who gets her kicks snooping around and stealthing my way through challenges with ranged weapons, Lara is a personal fave. There’s a bunch of new puzzles and naturally a world-threatening disaster to avert, so OG Lara fans are definitely not gonna be disappointed with the insanity that our girl faces on a regular basis. Truly, she’s the hero we all needed in these trying times.

So if you’ve got a hankering for some treasure hunting and a knack for navigating trap-laden rooms then you should probs make sure you do your darnedest to keep Lara out of harms way. Because we all know, if you don’t, things get nasty.
