God of War art director, Raf Grassetti, is incredibly good at what he does. The latest God of War alone is a testament to his immense talents, but as it turns out, the artist is also a pretty big fan of Nintendo‘s Super Smash Bros. and has even taken the time to redesign some of its fighters.

Posted to both his Instagram and Twitter, the first redesign in the series is Metroid‘s famous Samus Aran, which is fairly true to the original, if not slightly slimmer on the armour side of things.

His second stab at the roster was The Legend of Zelda‘s Link, who looks like he’d fit right into any number of fantasy films with his pointy-ass ears and stern expression. It’s kinda like Link if he were in The Witcher.

Second character of the #smashbrosremastered series and a sneak peak of the next one! I’m making it too easy to guess 🙂https://t.co/AvGoPVES26#smashbrosultimate #zelda #link #nintendo #supersmashbros #breathofthewild pic.twitter.com/N1YghBhZGh

The next one is Grassetti’s version of Bowser, which I think you’ll agree is way more terrifying than the current one. I mean, look at this motherfucker.

Last, but certainly not least, is manly Sonic the Hedgehog, which is how I imagine he’ll look in the upcoming movie.

See, I told you the bloke was talented. His next fighter redesign appears to be Mewtwo, according to the teaser below. I knew all those ‘Who’s That Pokémon’ segments would pay off one day.
Now for real guys! Who is the next Pokémon? ???? pic.twitter.com/7xlKX0SUAq
