I hope you’ve got plenty of space on your Xbox One or PS4 hard drive, folks, because Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be taking up a hefty chunk of it.

The title’s system requirements page says it has an install size of 99GB for PS4 and 107GB for Xbox One. The final size is the same for both regardless of whether you install via disk or digital download, but you’ll need an extra 50GB for the digital PS4 version “for the installation process,” meaning you’ll need a total of 149GB to play. Ooft.

There’s no doubt about it, that’s one Big Boy, but when you consider the scale of what Rockstar is bringing to life with RDR2, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. After all, it’s gonna take you at least 60 hours to complete, and that’s not including side missions and general dicking around in the enormous open world.

Rockstar dropped the launch trailer today, giving a glimpse into the overarching story of RDR2. You can check it out below.

I got to play the game recently and was absolutely blown away by not only its size, but how authentic it feels. The breadth of choice Rockstar is giving the player is nothing short of astounding. It truly feels like a huge step up in the gaming world and I can’t wait to sink some serious time into it.

You can pick up RDR2 on Xbox One or PS4 on the 26th of October.
