In today’s extremely wholesome news, Oprah bought a new phone for a student after noticing his current phone’s cracked screen during a selfie.

Oprah had been attending Atlanta’s Morehouse College for the 30th anniversary of her Oprah Winfrey Scholars Program. During the attendance, she donated an extra $13 million to the scholarship program (her donations now total $25 million since the scholarship program’s genesis).

While Oprah was on campus, one student, Olufemi Yessoufou (AKA @BigDon0), seized an opportunity to take a flick with her.

“Hey that’s me, that’s me on your cracked phone,” Oprah can be heard saying during Olu’s video.

The footage spread across Twitter like wildfire, subsequently catching the attention of Oprah and her team – a day after the encounter, Olu received a DM from someone in Oprah’s management informing him that she wanted to send a new phone.

“Oprah already has this phone for you, and it’s my job to make sure you get it,” the DM read, Olu told Buzzfeed News.

Sure enough, Olu found a lil’ suprise in the mail: a personalised letter with the new iPhone 11.

“Dear Olufemi,” the letter from Oprah read. “We can’t have you out here viewing the world thru a cracked screen or a cracked cover. The new camera you’re gonna love for sure!”

Once again, Oprah proves why she’s the queen we well and truly do not deserve. A true angel.

The following tweet perfectly summarises Twitter’s envious responses:
